Ray Price — American Original
October 15, 2007I go through phases with CDs and mixes. Right now I’m on a big Ray Price kick. The only Ray Price album I have is “American Originals”, which is a greatest hits album. I usually end up listening to “For the Good Times” at least three times per listen, partly because I’m a Kris Kristofferson nerd as well as a Ray Price fan.
There are some other really great songs on this album that were hits for Ray Price, a few
of which were written by Willie Nelson like, “Crazy”, “Funny How Time Slips Away”, and “Nightlife”. Isn’t it crazy how singers with great voices always seem to find songs written by great songwriters, isn’t it?
