Songs and Chords, Hey Patrick!

Yesterday a new subscriber, Patrick, left a comment asking how he could get access to the chords for classic country songs here, and just this morning I was telling a friend that I need to come up with a way for readers to get the chords to the songs they’d like.  I didn’t read his comment until this afternoon, so it’s pretty ironic that we were basically thinking the same thing.

What I came up with was a request system.  I’ve seen that lots of people have been finding this site by searching for chords to songs.  So let’s start with Patrick…post a comment with a few songs you’d like the chords to, and I’ll do my best to get them posted up here for you.  I’ll post the actual chords (no tablature) and just enough lyrics so you can get the idea without having to infringe on the artists’ rights.

For now, we can just do it through comments.  I’m working on a (prettier) design for the site, and when that is launched I’ll also put in a request form for you guys to fill out so that it can be anonymous and a little cleaner.

Give me a song list Patrick!!!  You can just reply to this post if you’d like.  The rest of you are welcomed to make requests as well.
