More About Tom T. Hall

I’ve been hooked on Tom T. Hall lately, listening to him almost exclusively on some days.   It seems like every few days I become partial to a different song of his.  My current favorite is “More About John Henry”.

He worked ’til the muscles in his body gave out

Then he kept right on a workin’ in his mind

Don’t do it

‘Cause a man ain’t s’pose to work all the time!

I heard an interview with Tom T. Hall and Bill Anderson on XM the other day, and old Tom T. didn’t sound too healthy.  I know he has to be getting up in years, but I was glad to hear that he is still writing and recording.
