Jerry Reed–Son! I say Yeah!
May 4, 2007A guy I play rugby with is a big Jerry Reed fan. Not that I’m NOT a big Jerry Reed fan, but not as big of a fan as my buddy. We have this little running joke that we throw in “son!” and “I say yeah!” into our conversations all the time. Ever notice how Jerry Reed does that in his songs? “When You’re Hot You’re Hot” is the song with the most Sons! and Yeahs! in it. He repeatedly says, “I said Yeah!” or “He said Yeah!” at the
end of every verse.
