John Denver–Thank God I’m a Country Boy!

This song is playing as I’m writing this. I don’t remember not knowing all of the lyrics. I’ve loved this song ever since I was a toddler. My parents say I used to go around screaming it at the top of my lungs. I was so young that I don’t even remember it, if that tells you anything.

I was never a huge John Denver fan, but I’ve warmed up to him more since I’ve gotten older. “Rocky Mountain High” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders” are nice too. I don’t really see what is so great about “Annie’s Song”, but lots of other people think it’s his best tune. To each his own I guess.
