Free Willie in Louisiana

Willie and his tour manager avoided jail time and paid a fine Tuesday for misdemeanor marijuana possession. As part of the deal, charges were dropped against Willie’s sister Bobbi.

Uh, what’s stopping the police in every town Willie visits from doing the same thing? Well for starters, he’s not hurting anyone and never has to my knowledge. I wonder what the circumstances were that led to the arrest in the first place. Sounds fishy.
