I heard this Charlie Daniels song the other day, and it’s been a while since I’d heard it. I’ve seen him play and couple of times, and nowadays he’s changed the words so that it doesn’t talk about getting stoned and drunk.

I don’t see what the big deal is with saying this. I mean, I understand that he personally doesn’t condone it or want to be associated with it (anymore), but c’mon. THAT’s the song you wrote. You can’t go back and re-write history and pretend that didn’t happen.
