Kris Kristofferson — Singer Songwriter (1991)

This is currently my favorite greatest hits cd. Disc 1 is Kris singing some of his biggest songs, and Disc 2 is the same songs being done by other artists, in most cases the artist that made them famous.

I love Roger Miller doing “Bobby McGhee”, Ray Price doing “For the Good Times”, and of course Johnny Cash doing “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down”. I do with that they’d included Tom Paul Glaser and the Glaser Brothers doing “Lovin’ Her was Easier than Anything I’ll Ever do Again”. That’s my favorite Kristofferson song:

Waking in the morning to the feeling of her fingers on my skin
Wiping out the traces of the people and the places that I’ve been
