Conway Twitty Concert

So my mom, when I was young, drags me to a concert. I did not want to go to this show–I had no interest in country music and the time (or so I thought) and especially no interest in Conway.

I was especially annoyed at being surrounded by all the “old” women there…I was 12 or 13 at the time.

But when Conway came out these women went nuts…I mean NUTS. I remember thinking, “Wait a second, this guy is doing something right!” I decided I’d better pay attention a little more!

Well, I never became what Conway was, but it did lead to a sure fire way to meet women as an adult. Anytime I’m at a karaoke place, I always sing “Lay You Down.” It works best if there is a girl there I’m already interested in…I just direct all my attention at her. Otherwise, it never fails to have chicks come up and want to talk after the song is over.
