Guy Clark Songs & Stories

by Scott on January 5, 2012

My album for today is Guy Clark’s “Songs and Stories”, which is a new live album. Well, it’s new to me…it just came out a few months ago. Have I mentioned how much I love Spotify and how it lets me listen to new stuff on demand?

Anyway, this album features great performances of many of my favorite Guy Clark songs. Even better than that, he tells the stories behind them. For instance, do you know why he references his landlord in “L.A. Freeway”? I won’t spoil it for you, but the answer lies within the album!
