About

Hi guys! I’m Scott, and I LOVE classic country music. I started this blog a couple of years ago just as a way to keep notes about stuff and to try out blogging. I’ve since lost a lot of my content due to a database crash with a faulty backup, but I’m in the process of re-writing some of my favorite posts–hopefully better this time, and writing some new stuff as well. I hope you enjoy the site. You canfollow the blog on Twitter, subscribe by RSS, or just get in touch with me if there are any posts you’d like to see.

SOUTHERN COUNTRY GOSPEL & TRADITIONAL RED DIRT MUSIC Performed By TONY STAMPLEY

PRESENTED BY KING OF FAME ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

Hello Scott,

Hope things have been going well for you these days. This is Nancy J. King, formerly with the William Ware Agency dropping in to let you know country music’s very own Tony Stampley (son of the legendary Joe Stampley) out of Nashville will be touring and performing live at a few key music establishments throughout the U.S.A. through the end of this year and into 2015. We’d love for you to consider reviewing his latest album “When I Get On A Role”.

He had a very successful album called “Rebelution” with Dreamworks in the year 2000 and now has a #1 single on the European Country Music Charts with “It Ain’t All Good But It Ain’t Half Bad” from his latest album “When I Get On A Role”.

Tony is best known for writing more songs for Hank Williams Jr. than any other writer and for that reason he can put on one heck of a Hank Jr. Tribute Show along with his own incredible music! Every top artist and producer along Music Row has known Tony’s music and songwriting for years.

Check out some of the songs below and you’ll see why so many superstars like George Jones, Randy Travis, John Anderson, Moe Bandy, Joe Stampley, Billy Currington, Hank Williams Jr., and many other artists have been recording his songs for years.

Dear Country Radio Classics:

I am the producer of a Country Music Interview Show entitled It Came From Nashville. We are looking for bloggers and journalists to take a look at our show and write about it if they find it interesting. The show is currently on YouTube as a Web Series but we are shopping it around to major studios and networks.

The show is hosted by Tonya Watts, a Country Music singer/songwriter and actress. Tonya has acted in several feature films and television series including The Beautician and the Beast, Married with Children, and Get to the Heart: The Barbara Mandrell Story (in which she plays a young Dolly Parton). Tonya was also Pamela Anderson’s stunt double in Barb Wire.

Each episode centers around a country music singer/songwriter special guest who either came from Nashville or has musical ties to Nashville. There is an interview portion where the guest talks about his/her inspiration and background and also two acoustic musical performances by the guest.

We currently have 5 episodes on air as well as three singles from Episode 3 as separate music videos (plus a promo and outtakes video). We launched on November 27, 2014 and have had over 110,000 views collectively to date for all 12 videos uploaded.

You can view the episodes and music videos at: https://www.youtube.com/user/TonyaWatts1

If you are interested in writing about the show, Tonya will make herself available for an interview either telephonically, via Skype or any other method that you chose.
